Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026 · Version 1.0 · English

1. Who is responsible and scope

SUMIBRANDS is the trade name under which Mateo González manages this website and industrial sourcing enquiries from Houston, Texas, United States. For privacy matters, contact mgonzalez@sumibrands.com. This policy covers the public website and customer access currently available.

2. Information we process

When you create an email account, we receive your email address, user identifier, verification status and account creation and access information. Firebase Authentication processes your password to authenticate you; never send it by email. If you choose Google, we receive authorized basic information such as your name, email address, identifier and profile picture if available. This sign-in does not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files. When you contact us, we process the contact details and commercial information you include.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and authenticate your account, verify your email, recover access, answer enquiries and protect the service against fraud or abuse. Registration does not automatically subscribe you to advertising. Private management of profiles, requests, drafts and documents is being prepared. We will update this policy when those features become available.

4. Providers and recipients

Google Firebase provides authentication and Google Workspace supports corporate email. The website is published through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information and security logs, to deliver and protect their services. We share only information needed to respond to your enquiry or provide the service, or when legally required. We do not sell account data or use it for personalized advertising. Google sign-in does not connect a customer's personal Drive. See also Firebase's privacy information (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) and Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

5. Browser storage

The website stores language and motion preferences in your browser's local storage. Firebase uses session storage to maintain access. Hosting infrastructure may use technical security cookies. This version does not include Google Analytics or advertising pixels. You can clear site data in your browser; this may sign you out or reset preferences.

6. Retention and security

We retain account information as needed to manage access and customer support. You may request deletion. Some records may be retained for legal obligations, security or disputes; providers also apply their own retention periods. We use HTTPS and Firebase authentication, but no system guarantees absolute security. Do not send passwords, card details or identity documents in general enquiries.

7. International processing

The service is managed from the United States, and providers may process data in other countries. Legal protections may vary by location. We will address the data protection obligations applicable to your relationship with SUMIBRANDS. This policy does not limit rights granted by applicable law.

8. Your requests and rights

To request access, correction or deletion of your data and account, email mgonzalez@sumibrands.com. Specify your account email and request, without sending your password. We may proportionately verify your identity before acting and will respond within applicable deadlines. You may also request objection, restriction or portability where applicable, and contact the competent authority. Revoking access in your Google account does not itself delete your SUMIBRANDS account; request deletion through the contact above.

9. Minors and updates

The platform is intended for adults and business representatives, not minors. Contact us if you identify a minor's data so we can review and delete it where appropriate. We will publish changes with an updated date, communicate material changes or seek consent when required.
